Enchanted Unicorn by IGT
Plenty of IGT’s games look familiar or follow a similar pattern but Enchanted Unicorn is one game that we don’t think has been repeated since. It’s entirely original and looks charming in its own way. Sure, it’s a little dated as far as the visuals are concerned by modern standards, but as one of the only true fairly tale slots out there, it definitely warrants further attention.
The symbols all suit the theme perfectly but the one that you’re likely to be most interested in is the unicorn. It’s certainly not a myth on this game and actually comes along particularly often. It’s the wild card and can even land in stacks. That’s not the most valuable addition ever as far as IGT is concerned, given that the game only makes use of twenty win lines, but we’d certainly take it whenever it’s offered!
There’s a scatter too, in the form of the full moon. However, it only serves to make for scattered wins rather than having any kind of separate bonus game attached to it. That role is take on instead by the treasure chest, which can land on reels one and five. Score it on both at the same time and you’ll reach Enchanted Unicorn’s main bonus game, a level based pick a win game. Five rows of tiles appear and you can pick one from each to reveal a prize. Finding a unicorn will award all prizes on the row, while discovering the wizard will bring the round to a premature end.
In the absence of free spins, the game also gives players the opportunity to gamble any win of less than 3,000 coins, with a shot at guessing the colour of the next card drawn in a separate screen game. These two features combine to ensure that anyone that’s a little fatigued by free spins rounds can still enjoy some rock solid IGT gaming action at their leisure – see how it all comes together in the full game at the top of the page!
